AGA Medications
AGA, which stands for Androgenetic Alopecia, is also known as male pattern hair loss. By their 30s, about half of men notice changes in hair density, and among them, roughly 50% feel that the hair on their forehead hairline or the top of their head has thinned.
Generally, genetics and male hormones (such as dihydrotestosterone, DHT) are considered the main causes.
According to the Japanese Dermatological Association: Guidelines for the Treatment of Male Pattern Hair Loss, the following medications are Grade A (strongly recommended).
