Side Effects
Many of the side effects, often referred to as “minor troubles,” tend to lessen with continued use. At our clinic, we recommend regular check-ups to minimize the risk of serious side effects.

Possible Side Effects
Possible side effects include flushing, bloodshot eyes, headaches, indigestion, and nasal congestion.
Just as the effectiveness varies from person to person, side effects also vary between individuals.
If headaches or nasal congestion are bothersome, the symptoms may be relieved by using over-the-counter pain relievers or nasal sprays.

If the side effects do not subside after discontinuing the medication, please consult a physician.
A sudden and significant drop in blood pressure may also cause symptoms of angina.
In particular, using these medications with nitroglycerin (medication for heart attacks) may cause an excessive drop in blood pressure and could be fatal.
Therefore, please refrain from taking ED medication if any of the following apply:
・ Those with an arrhythmia, low blood pressure, or high blood pressure
・ Those currently taking nitrates or nitric oxide (NO) donors
・ Those with a history of cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction, or heart failure
・ Those taking nitroglycerin-based medication or medication for heart disease
・ Those with a history of liver dysfunction, end-stage renal failure, unstable angina, or hereditary retinal degeneration
・ Those with retinitis pigmentosa
