[Tokyo Clinic Only] Introduction of miSignal® and N-NOSE®
Check Your Cancer Risk with a Urine Test.
Making Cancer Screening More Accessible.
MARU By Tokyo Business Clinic is introducing a new urine-based cancer risk screening test.
“I’m too busy to find time for a health checkup.”
“I want to start managing my health with a test that involves minimal discomfort.”
“I want to know my cancer risk.”
This urine-based cancer risk screening test requires only a urine sample, making it an option for those with these concerns.
“miSignal®” will be available from October 15, 2026
“N-NOSE®” will be available from November 1, 2026.
Two Urine-Based Cancer Risk Screening Tests
miSignal®
This test uses AI to analyze microRNAs in urine and assess the risk of 10 types of cancer by cancer type.
A single urine sample can be used to screen for the following 10 types of cancer.
Lung cancer / Stomach cancer / Colorectal cancer / Esophageal cancer / Pancreatic cancer / Kidney cancer / Bladder cancer / Prostate cancer※ / Breast cancer※ / Ovarian cancer※
※Prostate cancer is for men, while breast and ovarian cancer are for women.
The test statistically analyzes characteristics of microRNAs in urine to assess the risk of developing each type of cancer.
N-NOSE®
N-NOSE uses the highly sensitive sense of smell of nematodes to assess cancer risk throughout the body from a urine sample.
N-NOSE is currently known to respond to 23 types of cancer.
Oral cancer, pharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, thyroid cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, bile duct cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, testicular cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, skin cancer, blood cancer
One urine sample can be used to broadly screen for cancer risk throughout the body.
Which Should You Choose: miSignal or N-NOSE?
| miSignal® | N-NOSE® | |
|---|---|---|
| Test Method | Urine | Urine |
| Key Feature | AI analysis of microRNAs in urine | Uses the sense of smell of nematodes |
| Targets | 10 types of cancer | 23 types of cancer |
| Results | Risk assessment by cancer type | Overall cancer risk assessment |
| Sample Collection | Urine sample | Urine sample |

For those who want to know their risk for specific types of cancer, miSignal® may be suitable.
For those who want to broadly screen for cancer risk throughout the body, N-NOSE® may be suitable.
Each test has its own distinct features.
Early Detection of Cancer Is Important
Detecting cancer at an early stage and receiving appropriate treatment are important.
At the same time, many people face barriers to cancer screening, such as the time required, the difficulty of undergoing certain tests, or concerns about pain and discomfort.
Urine-based cancer risk screening can be performed using only a urine sample. First, learn about your own cancer risk and use the results as an opportunity to consider your future health management and whether to consult a medical institution.
October 15, 2026 miSignal® Launch
November 1, 2026 N-NOSE® Launch
Details about the tests, fees, and how to make an appointment will be announced soon.
Important Information
This test does not diagnose whether you have cancer. It is a screening test that assesses your cancer risk at the time of testing.
Even if the test result indicates a “low risk,” this does not guarantee that you do not have cancer or that you will not develop cancer in the future.
Likewise, a “high risk” result does not mean that you have cancer.
If you have any concerns about your test results or health, please consult a doctor.
